Maya Vardi, MD

  • Pediatric Ophthalmology Fellow

Dr. Vardi is a Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus Fellow at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She completed her ophthalmology residency in Israel, where she developed a strong passion for pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and the care of children with complex eye conditions.

Her clinical interests include pediatric cataract, retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), pediatric glaucoma, strabismus, and congenital ocular disorders. She is particularly interested in combining clinical care, surgical innovation, and research to improve visual outcomes for children.

Dr. Vardi Is excited to join the UPMC team and learn from leaders in the field while contributing to patient care, education, and clinical research.
